The Stakeout overlooks the Rio Grande Gorge and Taos, New Mexico with sweeping views of the same mesas and Sangre de Cristo Mountains that captured the heart and imagination of Georgia O’Keeffe.  

The salon

Our main gathering space pays homage to the salon-style gatherings of trailblazer artist & Taos icon, Mabel Dodge Luhan. Enjoy floor to ceiling views of the sunset over the Sangre De Cristo mountains with bespoke touches such as imported vintage spanish tile and modern Taos art. The perfect room for dining, dancing, hosting a gala, quinceañera, or any special event.

The outdoor patio that is The Stakeout's claim to fame and the perfect location for breathtaking photos and wedding ceremonies. This 2 tier wooden deck and bar brags panoramic views of Taos Valley & the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. At The Stakeout our bell tolls and adds an incredible detail to any ceremony. Wedding bells aren’t just for churches. This terrace can be transformed for either seating an audience with an isle, or hosting a dinner or outdoor event.
