Liza Cane is a singer-songwriter with roots in Kentucky and a love for stories.  Her voice and music harken to sounds from the past and singers like Karen Dalton and Hazel Dickens, yet she paints candid pictures of life and love in the present.  She has seen many small corners of the country, which inform the honest vignettes in her songs. While living in New Orleans, she recorded and released music on the noted roots label Mashed Potato Records.  She current resides in Tijeras, New Mexico
