Our airports are ABQ & SAF. Taos Air flies into Taos Direct from Austin, Dallas & LA. It takes roughly 3 hours to drive from ABQ Airport to Taos. It takes approximately 2.5 hours to drive from SAF Airport to Taos. Watch for animals on the road as the sun begins to set!

Some Taos Tips

You are traveling to a haven of serenity. Your cell phone reception will be spotty most of the time. Download WIFI calling. Plan ahead, shopping-wise. Most of the stores are locally owned and eclectic, but not functionally focused. You will be forced to slow down. Horns are seldom, and hustle is unheard of. Welcome to the Land of manana!

Our favorite private driver just goes by the name Mario. He has proven to be the most dependable, informative, safe & friendliest driver in Taos. He drives for most of our larger events and has vehicles of different sizes in his fleet.

SAFETY

There is no reliable public transportation (i.e., cab service, Lyft, or Uber) in Taos. We highly recommend hiring a shuttle service on the day of the wedding so no one has to drive, especially if someone is drinking. Safety in our community is our highest priority, and we’re happy to connect you with a local provider.
